Source A Source creates signals. It carries a procedural preset, an instrument, a trigger, and an output mode. The shared protocol still calls this object an emitter; the interface calls it Source. The composer agent Every Source preset carries a 30-parameter ComposerAgent that decides what notes to generate. This article lists every parameter, what it changes, and when it is worth touching. Wire A wire is a route and a delay. Three timing modes, distance, beats, and milliseconds, determine how grid layout maps to musical time. Vibe node (synth) A Vibe Node resolves an arriving signal into one sounding note. It can use the Source agent's pitch, override pitch manually, or keep procedural pitch while overriding velocity and duration. Instruments & sound credits How the built-in instruments are made, why we chose them, and the sources behind every sampled sound. Every instrument is free for everyone — the library is built to a quality floor, not padded for a count. Chord node A chord node sounds multiple notes at once. Procedural mode tracks the global progression; manual mode lets you pin a specific chord. Voicing style, inversion, octave, and arpeggiation are all editable. Splitter A Splitter routes one signal across several outgoing wires. Four modes—`all`, `roundRobin`, `weighted`, and `probability`—cover deterministic branching, alternation, proportional choice, and independent chance. Gate A gate decides whether and when to release an arriving signal. Five modes cover delay, arrival counting, within-bar patterns, song-section measures, and musical-boundary holds. Harmony A Harmony modifier transforms the pitch of a passing signal. 17 transforms cover octaves, scale-aware intervals, chord tones, semitones, unison, and inversion. Modulator A Modulator changes the agent role carried by a signal. A melody leaving a Source can become bass, harmony, or rhythm halfway through the graph. Sample Node A Sample Node plays one audio clip when a signal arrives. Use an upload, a microphone recording, generated material, a saved library item, or a built-in effect, then shape it without leaving the graph. Signals: the lifecycle Every audible event in a spatial composition is one signal travelling through the topology. This article documents the full lifecycle: launch, routing, transformation, arrival, playback. And the hard limit that keeps cycles musical. Global music settings Key, scale, mode, BPM, time signature, and chord progression are global settings shared by Sources and Chord Nodes. Change them and the graph re-harmonizes. Core progression system The core progression is the moving harmonic field underneath a spatial composition. Manual mode lets a player set the chords. Generated mode uses a Markov chain over tonal functions, then the transport steps through the result at a configurable chord length. Melody Loom: shape a selected phrase The deliberate pitch workspace for multi-selections. Treat synths and chords as one ordered phrase, preview changes locally, audition a window, and apply the result as one shared edit.
